Passover, a feast of the Lord, is to be celebrated every year by the Jewish people, as God instructed them to do so. Passover commemorates the Hebrew people’s liberation from Egyptian slavery under the leadership of Moses, who demanded that Pharoah “Let My people go!”
It is a great reminder of what great lengths and mighty acts God will perform miraculously to deliver His people when they call upon Him and accept His way of deliverance, as God used the rod of Moses to open the waters of the Red Sea. May all who read of this event in the Book of Exodus find all the in-depth meaning of the account and see its relevance for our everyday lives as we look at our own relationship with the Lord.
